Attorneys for a Guatemalan man deported to Mexico say he has landed in California. President Donald Trump's administration had said they were working to bring him back to the United States after a court ordered facilitation of his return.

A Guatemalan national who says he was wrongfully deported to Mexico is back in the United States, his legal team told CNN, in what appears to mark the first time the Trump administration has brought back a migrant after a judge ordered the administration to facilitate their return.

The man, who had been deported to Mexico, is the first known deportee to be returned by the Trump administration after a judicial order.
