South Africa have qualified for their first ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup 2025 decider following an impressive five-wicket triumph over Australia in the first semifinal in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Bangladesh, South Africa and Australia picked up wins on a rain-affected opening day of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025. South Africa won an all-action match over New Zealand to get their campaign up and running with Bangladesh beating Nepal in a low-scoring game.

The match officials have been announced for the semi-finals in Malaysia. India’s Gayathri Venugopalan and Nitin Bathi of the Netherlands will be in the middle for the first of the semi-finals between South Africa and Australia.
