Many fears of an AI bubble had hit a fever pitch at the start of this year when Chinese start-up DeepSeek released a competitive reasoning model.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman noted this month that generative AI could be a bubble, while at the same time promising trillions of dollars of data center and compute spend.

The low-cost plan, called ChatGPT Go, aims to provide wider access to the chatbot’s advanced features at 399 rupees a month, equivalent to $4.57, the startup said Tuesday.

Compared to the Free plan, Go gives you 10 times more file uploads and image generation credits. For access to legacy models and Sora, however, you'll need the costlier Plus plan.
