The New England Patriots finally have dates next to the opponents they'll be playing later this year after Wednesday's official 2025 NFL schedule release. There is more optimism surrounding the team this year with the hiring of Mike Vrabel as the new head coach and the many roster moves the team has made this offseason.

After throwing out their playbook in 2023 — the franchise dumped eight-time Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Belichick and starting quarterback Mac Jones — new coach Jered Mayo and rookie QB Drake Maye stepped in to take their places. Unfortunately, the team went 4-13, just like they did the year before and that led to Mayo’s firing.
