Bobby Portis Jr. has established himself as a firm fan favorite in the city of Milwaukee. Having been a key piece during the Milwaukee Bucks' NBA championship win in 2021, Portis has also helped the team win the 2024 NBA Cup.

Shams Charania of ESPN reported that the Bucks and Portis reached an agreement to sign a new deal. The bench player will stay in Milwaukee after signing a three-year, $44 million contract, after he declined his $13.4 million player option.
