Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards got the job done on Saturday. Randle recorded the first Timberwolves triple-double in a playoff series since 2004, while Edwards poured in 36 points to lead Minnesota to a 102-97 win over Golden State, giving the Wolves a 2-1 series lead.

Darius Garland (toe sprain), De’Andre Hunter (dislocated thumb) and Evan Mobley (ankle injury) were out for the Cavs, and Donovan Mitchell tried to make up for it. The star guard finished with 48 points on 15-of-30 shooting. Max Strus added 23 points (a playoff career high) and Jarrett Allen had 22.

This series nearly became the Warriors without Stephen Curry against the Timberwolves without Anthony Edwards.
