The New England Patriots are reportedly hiring Terrell Williams as defensive coordinator. Williams worked with head coach Mike Vrabel for six years in Tennessee and most recently served as the Detroit Lions’ defensive line coach.

Mike Vrabel has turned to a former lieutenant to be the Patriots defensive coordinator. According to ESPN, the Patriots are hiring Detroit Lions defensive line coach/run game coordinator Terrell Williams to be their next defensive coordinator.

The Dolphins’ outside linebackers coach was previously under Mike Vrabel on the Tennessee Titans’ coaching staff.
