With Donkey Kong Bananza being so good but still cheaper than Mario Kart World, fans believe DLC is on the way.

Mario Kart World has received a new update this week, bumping the Switch 2 exclusive up to Version 1.2.1. This is the first update for August, and it's a small one compared to the previous updates, addressing some bug fixes. As usual, to continue playing online, you'll need to install this latest update.

Mario Kart World and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are both available on Nintendo Switch 2, and it can be hard to decide which one is right for you.

“Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” is scheduled for release Sept. 25 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also coming out during the holidays, and those who buy it on the Switch can purchase a $10 upgrade pack to play it on the Switch 2.

With the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, a new “Mario Kart” installment has also been released. In addition to familiar heroes like Super Mario, “Mario Kart World” features a cow as a playable character.
