According to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Los Angeles Lakers have hired Jeremy Holsopple as their head strength and conditioning coach, this coming after an over-decade tenure with the Mavericks, including when Doncic was on the team.

Back in 2019, it certainly appeared as though the Mavericks had thrust themselves onto a path that would eventually lead to rookie star Luka Doncic landing in the NBA Finals with Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis.
