The largest multi-state lottery drawing of 2025 takes place Monday night as the Powerball jackpot has surpassed the $600 million mark. The estimated grand prize for the drawing on Aug. 18, is worth $605 million with a cash option of $273.4 million.
The Powerball jackpot is rapidly growing, and could grow into one of the largest jackpots in history if a winner doesn’t emerge in the next drawing or two.

The Powerball jackpot for Monday night is up to $605 million, with an estimated cash value of $273.4 million, according to the Powerball website. Previously, the highest prize in 2025 was a $515 million ticket sold in California in March. It is also now the largest jackpot since a $1.326 billion payout was won by a ticket in Oregon in April 2024.
