CARDIFF and Leeds fans have united for an incredible Sol Bamba tribute after the ex-Prem star’s death aged 39. Bamba died aged just 39 last month while working for Turkish side Adanaspor.

Rodon and Firpo, though, both start whilst Rothwell takes his place on the bench alongside summer signings Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt. Championship rivals Leeds United and Cardiff City joined forces to pay their respects to former defender Sol Bamba as two of the clubs he used to play for locked horns in South Wales.

Cardiff City say family and friends of Sol Bamba will be present as they and Leeds United pay tribute to their former player at the Cardiff City Stadium this Saturday.

Cardiff captain Joe Ralls has urged team-mates to give "absolutely everything" against Leeds United as a tribute to their former skipper Sol Bamba.
