An alligator killed a Florida woman after tipping over a canoe she and her husband were paddling, investigators said.

Florida Fish and Wildlife lists Lake Kissimmee as the lake with second-highest population of alligators in the state. Where do other Polk County lakes rank?

The FWC said the attack occurred on Lake Kissimmee near the mouth of Tiger Creek. A similar, though non-lethal attack happened in the same creek in March.
