There is reportedly a clear favorite in the New York Knicks' search for their next head coach, although the process will only move along with the approval of team governor James Dolan.

While a league source confirmed the second interview, the source also said that Micah Nori and James Borrego could be returning for second interviews, too — with Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan now joining the interview process. A second interview remains possible for Taylor Jenkins.

The Knicks also reached out South Carolina women's coach Dawn Staley, but she is currently not considered a finalist, league sources said.
