Owners of John Deere ZTrak mowers with Kawasaki engines should check their serial numbers and schedule a free repair to prevent engine fires.

Consumers should stop using the mowers immediately and contact a certified John Deere dealer for a free repair.

Affected models could pose a fire hazard due to an electrical fault. Kawasaki Motors USA issued a recall on January 02 for certain John Deere ZTrak Zero Turn Mowers with Kawasaki engines due to an issue with the voltage regulator in the mower's engine.
