Fire crews allowed a fire to burn through brush on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. They they lost control.

Two wildfires are burning up Arizona’s Grand Canyon National Park, forcing hundreds of people to evacuate and destroying over 70 different buildings and landmarks, including the historic Grand Canyon Lodge,

The visitor center and a wastewater treatment plant were among the 50 to 80 structures lost, the park superintendent said. The area was evacuated Thursday.
