French Foreign Ministry condemns killing of Palestinian activist who collaborated on Oscar-winning documentary - Anadolu Ajansı

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has blamed Hamas for recent failures to agree a hostage deal in Gaza. It comes as the UK says it will recognise the state of Palestine in September unless Israel acts to end the famine.

On Tuesday, a Delhi court postponed making a decision over the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) chargesheet in the National Herald case. According to court sources, the case has been rescheduled for August 7 and 8 in order to get some explanations.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the U.K. will recognize Palestine as a state at the U.N. General Assembly in September unless Israel takes several steps to work towards peace in Gaza.

France also plans to give a Palestine state formal recognition, reflecting Israel's growing isolation over its conduct in Gaza.

The Palestinian death toll in Gaza passed 60,000 on Tuesday. The world's leading authority on food crises said the “ worst-case scenario of famine is currently playing out” in the territory of over 2 million people as starvation deaths rise.
