The Bondi to Coogee walk is one of the best coastal hikes I’ve done. The views are absolutely stunning, with cliffs, sandy beaches, and the sparkling ocean all along the way. Each stretch of the path…Full review by Alex A

We started on Coogee upon the recommendation of our concierge. It’s the same path both ways. Yes there is elevation change but there are stairs and railings where steep. We wore tennis shoes but many locals are in flip flops. Path is easy to follow (just follow the people). Remember to walk on the left!!! There are plenty of filtered water stations to refill your water bottle and rest rooms as well. I think Bondi markets are only on Sunday. If you end there you won’t have to carry any packages with you. Enjoy. It is FABULOUS

Hello! I'm visiting in early May, with a 14 month old and husband for the first time. We have a travel stroller which is 6.5kg, wondering if it's wise to bring it along with us or to just use a baby carrier instead. I'm a bit worried about the stairs, are they very steep? If we do find it very challenging to complete the route, can we exit anywhere and take a bus back to Hyde Park area? Also, what time of the day would be good for a visit? Are there any other coastal walks that are easier but still offer great views? Thanks so much in advance for answering my question!

And don't forget to eat at the icebergs overlooking bondi
Q:
Hi I would like to know if the weather will be too cold and windy for the walk in mid May since it is near end autumn?
A:
That depends seeing you are from Singapore I would say yes cool and in spots windy so definitely need a jacket and 3/4 or long pants but sometimes we have glorious Autumn days.
Q:
I read that this walk takes about 2 hours. Is that accurate and is that round trip?
A:
I would say 2+ each way, unless you are amazingly in good shape and not stopping to take pictures, have a lunch or drink along the way, etc. As to the round trip part, I was very …

I would say 2+ each way, unless you are amazingly in good shape and not stopping to take pictures, have a lunch or drink along the way, etc. As to the round trip part, I was very ready to jump on a bus and move on to the next part of my day. The bus system is awesome once you have a card and use Google transit maps to know which bus to get on. Plus the drivers are super helpful with newbies. And Sundays are unlimited after you pay the AUD$2.70 base fare.
