The National Museum of Bangkok is well worth the visit, just be sure to give yourself lots of time! We were there for 2 1/2 hrs and only saw about 1/3 or 1/2 of the museum.Full review by Donna N

So interesting. We spent 2 hours here and didn't see everything. Good excuse to come back next time. I particularly loved the royal ceramic collection, stunning.Full review by N7159FNangelar

200thb to enter and I spent hours here. Big back packs are kept where you buy your ticket (perfect if it’s before check in time), then walk to different buildings explaining Thai history in English…Full review by Rose E

I wore levis only because that's what I wear. I cannot believe it would be a problem. It is very laid back and you can walk where and when you want. Shorts are not good to go to Wats though. You can get in but not inside the temples. Not always enforced but a good idea.

Entrance fee for adult is 200 baht and it is free for kids. There is no near MRT. You can take ferry and get off at the same pier as the Grand Palace. Use Google map and walk for about 10 -15 mins. The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday and the closing time is 4 pm.
