All I can say is WOW! This place is impressive. I highly recommend that you hike up to the top. Views are spectacular. The blow holes are so cool and worth climbing into.Full review by Q8976OBjanetm

Drive yourself it is very doable to Hana. Leave early equals less cars. Stop a few times to stretch a leg and give your passengers a break too. The black sand beach is right before Hana. We drove on to the Seven Pools but they were closed and the road steadily deteriorates. We turned around and ate our Subway sandwiches and snacks and headed back. Lots of pictures and we controlled the stops and breaks. Go for it. We rented a Nissan Altima and had no issues. Take a cooler with snacks and cold drinks.
