I'm not a zealot or anything, but I am a big animal lover & just won't enjoy myself in a place where animals are clearly exhibiting signs of a poor quality of life in captivity. It's why I stopped visiting zoos a long time ago. It's hard to tell - the majority of the reviews are positive, and it's been in business a very long time, however there are enough comments specifically related to poor conditions for the animals that I have to wonder. If there's anyone able to rebut some of those comments or provide some reassuring information that might help me decide if I should visit, I'd sure appreciate it.

They exaggerated the comments(i.e the panting was just the elk regulating their heat.) They had roofs with water bowls to rest underneath, so I think they were fine. My only concern is that they aren’t fed at all, because the deer were swarming anybody with even one pellet.
