My wife and I took KD one way from Bingen to Boppard this past August. That is just past St Goar. It was $ USD 46.36 for both as senior ticket. We took the train back, same day, but paid cash in a machine on the platform. I don't have a record of the price, and don't remember any option for senior pricing. One tip...… if you take the first trip from Bingen in the am, I think it was 9:30, there was a long line waiting for the ticket office at the dock to open at 9am. I would get there well before 9am, or buy your ticket in advance. Good trip... enjoy.

Hoping to take advantage of KD cruises' 20% discount with train tickets but I don't think I can do that buying online. If we try to buy our boat tickets on the actual day, are they likely to be sold out at that time of year? We need to get on a boat before 10:00 so can't just wait for one that's not full. Thank you!
